Central Networks, one of the leading independent social housing and care based ICT service providers, has announced today [5 August 2015] that it has been appointed by supported housing organisation Two Saints to provide a full suite of ICT services. The five year appointment comes after a four-way competitive tender managed by Service Matters.

Central’s team will be delivering a single point of contact for all ICT support for some 250 permanent and relief staff and up to 50 volunteers. The programme will include a full system upgrade and investment in enhanced connectivity – as well as supporting hosted production and Disaster Recovery environments and provision of a fully managed desktop service. It builds on Central’s reputation as experts in social housing and the always-on provision of care and support services.

Nigel Miles, IT Manager at Two Saints, commented on the appointment:
“Central Networks brought a fresh and forward looking perspective to the provision of ICT. Their depth of experience in the care and support sector coupled with a focus on business deliverables, particularly maximising productivity and enabling access, gave them the edge as we maintain our commitment to the intelligent use of technology.”

Two Saints works to improve the lives of those who are homeless, vulnerable or in need of support. It provides high quality, effective and reliable housing, support and learning services – enabling its clients to develop the skills to break the cycle of homelessness, poverty and exclusion. It offers services across Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.

Jo Berry, Director at Central Networks added:
“We are proud to lead the way as a next-generation provider of ICT services. Our independence allows us to provide solution-neutral consultancy that puts the client first. Understanding today’s business challenges, from workforce productivity to digital inclusion, and building optimal solutions from a wide portfolio of market leading suppliers is a recipe for successful relationships”
